Ascent Mountain Advisors is a consulting company founded by ski industry veteran, David Perry. It is the culmination of 30+ years of mountain resort overall expertise on the leading edge of resort evolution.

David Perry is an established ski resort industry veteran who resides in Woody Creek, near Aspen,Colorado.

David is a passionate mountain enthusiast in all seasons and has applied this drive to his vocation - building mountain resort businesses to consistently rise to the very top of the market in all metrics, from world rankings to operational excellence and financial performance.

David’s successes have been built at Whistler Blackcomb, Canada to Aspen Skiing Company and Alterra Mountain Company, creator of the industry disrupting Ikon Pass.
